Sentence (वाक्य) :- शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जिसका पूर्ण अर्थ हो, उसे वाक्य (Sentence) कहते है । 

Sentences (वाक्य) चार प्रकार के होते है :- 

1. Declarative Sentences (कथनात्मक वाक्य) Statements (कथन) / Assertions (दावा / दृढ़ कथन)

2. Interrogative Sentences (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य)

3. Imperative Sentences (आदेशात्मक वाक्य) 

4. Exclamatory sentences (विस्मयादिबोधक वाक्य)
